We have a vibrant tennis community that offers many playing opportunities in Wilmington and surrounding areas. The GWTA supports tennis in 5 counties including New Hanover, Columbus, Pender, Brunswick and Bladen. We promote the growth of tennis through adult tennis leagues, round robins, clinics and tournaments. We also facilitate free and low-cost youth tennis programs.

How Can You Help Grow Tennis?

Getting involved with the GWTA is rewarding and helps to ensure that tennis stays a part of our community. We have many volunteer opportunities – whether you have a free afternoon to help check players in at Combo State Championships or helping coach an after-school program – get in touch. We’d love to pair you with a program coordinator who can help get you involved.
