How long is USTA Programming suspended?

All USTA programming is suspended at least through May 3, 2020.

Which programs are affected?

All USTA programs are suspended, meaning Adult & Junior Tournaments, USTA League, Junior Team0Tennis, Try Tennis, USTA NC Growth Leagues, NJTL and Net Generation Tour events.

When will we know the status of the USTA Spring Programming and Leagues?

Unfortunately, we have no way to tell at this moment. Each day the news is evolving regarding COVID-19. We will continue to update our players as we know more.

Will there be advancement for leagues and tournaments?

Our hope is that we will be able to resume play. What it will look like, how and when it will happen, is still unknowable.

Can you play a match that is scheduled during the suspension time and have it count?

All play is suspended. No matches may be played during this time.

Can we finish a makeup match/clinic from earlier in the season during this time?

All play is suspended, including matches/clinics that were in progress at the time of the suspension of play.

If we return to play on May 3, 2020, what will happen with the clinic/league/tournament?

We are currently working with our local leagues & providers to evaluate where they were in their seasons/sessions when the suspension was implemented, as well as the best way to move forward to complete their seasons/sessions.  That will vary from area to area.  Please allow us time to make these evaluations and construct potential calendars.

What is the plan for summer tennis leagues/clinics?

At this point, registration for summer tennis will likely be delayed.
