The Greater Wilmington Tennis Association’s Junior Ladder is back for the Fall season! Once again, this ladder will be run through the TennisRungs website and mobile app. Early bird pricing of $25/ladder will be available until 10/4/2021. After 10/4/2021 the price is $30/ladder.
Fall Ladder Season Dates: October 4th – December 5th
There are two divisions beginner and advanced. On the ladder, “beginner” means beginner – juniors who have not been playing for years and are somewhat new to the sport. The beginner ladders even have an abbreviated one-set match to keep it simple and fun. If your player has been playing and competing for a while – they should sign up for the advanced ladders.

Beginner 12U Coed Singles – Green Dot
Beginner 16U Coed Singles
Advanced 14U Coed Singles
Advanced 18U Coed Singles
If you have participated in the previous GWTA ladders, you should already have a TennisRungs account. Just open the app and join a new ladder/ladders! There is no need to create a new TennisRungs account.
If you are new to TennisRungs, create an account at the link below. IF YOU ARE GOING TO MANAGE YOUR CHILD’S MATCHES, PLEASE USE A PARENT’S EMAIL ADDRESS – NOT THE CHILD’S. Announcements and challenges happen through emails and it works out better for the parents to manage this. Once you have registered your player through the website, you must then LOG BACK IN AND JOIN A SPECIFIC LADDER AND PAY THE FEE. After you join a ladder don’t forget to download the TennisRungs app. The app makes challenging players and accepting challenges a breeze.
